Saltholmen Archipelago.... a group of islands off Gothenburg Take the tram to the very end of the line and walk to the docks. Your tram card also covers the ferries. So, you hop on the next ferry which cruises around the archipelago. Get off on any island and explore, or eat (I had moose meatballs), or go swimming (many lovely beaches and then catch the ferry to the next island or just cruise around them and come back. The beaches and most of the restaurants were closed in April, but May to September, this place is booming with tourists or locals on vacation.
